White and Green Country Wedding

I was so pleased when Emma first approached me to provide her wedding flowers. I have told her many times she gets the prize for the most excited bride i have ever worked with ;) . Our brief was informal country flowers which was to complement the pretty village location of the setting. Lots of seasonal flowers in whites, creams and greens, nothing too structured, everything to look handpicked. It all looked so lovely on the day. Really looking forward to seeing the professional pictures, these are the ones i took on the day. Hope you like.
Emmas bouquet - includes sweetpeas, David Austin roses, larkspur, viburnum, lily of the valley, veronica, freesia, alchemillia, lisianthus. Bound with vintage lace.

The Bridemaids bouquets bound in raffia..

From previous posts, you may have realised i am a BIG fan of hair flowers, so I was totally in my element making these.

Emmas pretty alice band of lily of the valley in twine ...

Hair circlets for the younger bridesmaids ...
Sweetpeas, matricaria and spray roses in this one - this was inspired by Kate Moss's bridesmaids - keeping the whole circlet very thin and delicate.

More traditional larger versions for the littleones - including David Austin roses and rosemary.

For the adult bridesmaids - a larger alice band made out of twine, and a lovely haircomb

Pretty cluster of lily of the valley and rosemary for the grooms buttonhole

And freesia for the rest of the gents..

At the church we decorated the two arches with lovely seasonal flowers. ( Inside the church we hung little jamjars of flowers from the pews but sadly couldnt take photographs of these as it was a little bit too dark for an amateur photographer )

At the venue, which was a marquee in the grounds of their friends home, we attached willow and moss from the marquee poles which Emma and Jonny hung paper birds and hearts from when finished.

Cute bucket of flowers in the drinks tent . Buckets available to hire.

Love these vintage milkchurns, which we borrowed from a local dairy farm and filled with lovely delphiniums, larkspur, ammi and dahlias.

For the tables we filled lots of different jars and vases to line along the tressel tables.

 Congratulations to Emma and Johnny!

  1. Life is a battle, if you don't know how to defend yourself then you'll end up being a loser. So, better take any challenges as your stepping stone to become a better person. Have fun, explore and make a lot of memories.
