Rustic Marquee Wedding

From already knowing the bride & groom , i always knew this was going to be one cool wedding and was so pleased when we were asked to provide the wedding flowers.
I totally heart every single detail of this wedding, from the gorgeous dresses to the muted colourscheme of flowers to the attention to every detail in the vintage marquee. Everything really did look amazing, and so im going to show you pics of everything, not just the flowers that we provided, as im sure it will inspire lots of brides to be! Rustic with a touch of vintage glamour. Love it.

The gorgeous bride and groom.

After lots of discussion, for the bridal flowers we decided on roses - vendella & la belle, hydrangea, scabis , brunia and deep burgundy foliage. Vintage inspired & sophisticated. Suited the beautiful wedding dress, and bridesmaids dressed perfectly.

La belle roses buttonholes, with brunia. Natually tied with suede.

Oh, how i love this marquee...

For the entrance we provided informal country arrangements in old buckets.

And inside on the tables, mismatched vases of coordinating flowers. I love the colourpalette of the inside detailing of the marquee, planned to perfection without being obvious in any way.

In the separate marquee, for sitting chatting, drinking, chillaxing, we brought in hessian wrapped lavender plants with a little rose detailing, for on the tables.

Lots of other lovely detailing that Lyn our bride worked so hard to plan. It all looked perfect!

Definately one of my faves! xx

Pretty Pink Peach and White Wedding

You may have seen our earlier blogpost of a lovely thankyou   email we received from the mum of one of our lovely brides, Claire.
Here are some piccies that we took & I have to say that, we loved Claires wedding flowers as much as she did - they were so pretty! The attention to detail Claire and her mum Liz put into dressing the church & venue Locko Park, paid off as it looked beautiful !! Take a peek....

Grand Entrance into marquee -
Top Table
We used potted hydrangea plants, and arrangements of the prettiest soft peach carnations teamed with mint and rosemary in stone containers.

Lovely centrepiece arrangements in coordinating stone containers

And cute mini ones for the coffee table/lounge area

In the church, for pew ends we made little sprays of flowers to hook over some the lovely horseshoes that Claire provided.

And for the bridal flowers...
Claire asked for a long, natural trailing bouquet - there are so many lovely flowers in this bouquet , just a few to mention, roses, scabiosa, stephaniotis, sweetpeas, jasmine trails...

And a posie for the bridesmaid

Lovely corsages and buttonholes

Congratulations to Claire and James, and thankyou to Liz for such lovely feedback xxx

A Lovely Thankyou

We are very lucky to get lots of thankyou letters, cards and emails from our lovely brides after their big day , and this is the latest lovely email that has dropped into my inbox which i thought i would share .....

Dear Kerry

I wanted to say a massive thank you for the amazing flowers for Claire & James wedding on Saturday at Locko Park.

The bouquet for Claire was absolutely stunning and she loved it so much she look it to the lake district on honeymoon afterwards

The guys buttonholes looked wonderful and went so well with the whole theme.

The church looked amazing and we loved how you placed the pew ends, everyone could see them, and they all commented on how beautiful they looked.

Wow the marquee looked amazing, your wonderful flowers really pulled it all together, In fact we were overwhelmed when we saw how stunning it looked. The guest kept remarking how beautiful the flowers were, and the urn was so impressive we loved it.

The top table looked so perfect and I know Claire and James were so thrilled with it.

The level of service you gave us Kerry was exceptional, from the beginning Claire was never concerned about her flowers as she knew you understood the look she wanted and you really did deliver.

The wedding was perfect from beginning to end and I want to thank you for all you did to make it happen.

I would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone planning such an important event and I really do believe if you use the best you get the best.

As soon as we have some great photo's we will definitely send them over for you and I know Claire will definitely be in touch when she gets back from her honeymoon.

Once again thank you for helping to make the day perfect

Kind regards

Liz Grant ( Claire's mum) x

I will be posting the pics of this wedding soon, so watch this space! x

White and Green Country Wedding

I was so pleased when Emma first approached me to provide her wedding flowers. I have told her many times she gets the prize for the most excited bride i have ever worked with ;) . Our brief was informal country flowers which was to complement the pretty village location of the setting. Lots of seasonal flowers in whites, creams and greens, nothing too structured, everything to look handpicked. It all looked so lovely on the day. Really looking forward to seeing the professional pictures, these are the ones i took on the day. Hope you like.
Emmas bouquet - includes sweetpeas, David Austin roses, larkspur, viburnum, lily of the valley, veronica, freesia, alchemillia, lisianthus. Bound with vintage lace.

The Bridemaids bouquets bound in raffia..

From previous posts, you may have realised i am a BIG fan of hair flowers, so I was totally in my element making these.

Emmas pretty alice band of lily of the valley in twine ...

Hair circlets for the younger bridesmaids ...
Sweetpeas, matricaria and spray roses in this one - this was inspired by Kate Moss's bridesmaids - keeping the whole circlet very thin and delicate.

More traditional larger versions for the littleones - including David Austin roses and rosemary.

For the adult bridesmaids - a larger alice band made out of twine, and a lovely haircomb

Pretty cluster of lily of the valley and rosemary for the grooms buttonhole

And freesia for the rest of the gents..

At the church we decorated the two arches with lovely seasonal flowers. ( Inside the church we hung little jamjars of flowers from the pews but sadly couldnt take photographs of these as it was a little bit too dark for an amateur photographer )

At the venue, which was a marquee in the grounds of their friends home, we attached willow and moss from the marquee poles which Emma and Jonny hung paper birds and hearts from when finished.

Cute bucket of flowers in the drinks tent . Buckets available to hire.

Love these vintage milkchurns, which we borrowed from a local dairy farm and filled with lovely delphiniums, larkspur, ammi and dahlias.

For the tables we filled lots of different jars and vases to line along the tressel tables.

 Congratulations to Emma and Johnny!
