Hello ! Its Been A While !

Hi everyone , hope you've had a good year - its been quite a long time since we did a blog post !
How come, you may ask ? Well, mainly because each year our wedding season begins earlier and earlier , which means following Mothers Day in March we are straight into the busy times that being a busy wedding florist brings, so time for blog posts become few and far between . My camera and phone gets fuller and fuller of lovely images that i always have the best intentions of showing you all .
Although never fear , for regular updates, make sure you like our facebook page - we post to this frequently :)
Because our wedding season is now drawing to a close for the year (we are now getting into our christmas planning and prep -watch this space for our christmas range launch) , i thought i would show you some of the highlights of our busy summer .

Daisy Wedding Bouquets

On a rainy day like today, its nice to look back at summer flowers to remind us what lies ahead , and these bouquets that we made last year definately give sunny, happy thoughts .  To complement the quirky barn setting of Donington Park Farmhouse ( the wedding breakfast is held in what used to be pig stys) - our bride asked for simple country bouquets, using daisies and wheat . For the buttonholes, we teamed the wheat with craspedia . These really do make me smile, I hope these lovely colours brighten up your day too .

Summer Wedding at Langley Priory

Happy New Year !

We are really looking forward to a new year of weddings and meeting lots of lovely brides to be .

One wedding that we provided the flowers for last year and have yet to post on the blog ( we have lots still on our camera to show you! ), was at one of favourite local venues , a teepee in the grounds of Langley Priory , with the ceremony beforehand at Breedon on the Hill church .
This wedding was even more of a treat for us, as we were asked to decorate the family home with flowers - creating a pretty atmosphere for the bride to get ready amongst, and a lovely backdrop for the pre-ceremony photographs .
Lots of informal rustic loveliness !
