Vintage Glamour - Combermere Abbey

Back in September we provided flowers for the lovely Natalie & Warren who chose a glamorous vintage theme for their wedding . We used lots of roses, with the addition of succulents , eucalyptus, mint and astrantia to compliment the shade of the bridesmaids dresses.
The wedding was held at the beautiful Combermere Abbey . This was the first time I had visited Combermere and i really loved it . The ceremony itself was held in The Glasshouse, a gorgeous space surrounded by a fruit tree maze . The marquee reception was within a walled garden ,  all very very lovely .
For centrepieces Natalie provided beautiful crystal stands which we dressed with flowers, and lots of lovely distressed silver containers for the top table . All so pretty, so naturally i was delighted when i received some pictures from Natalie of the actual day , its always lovely when we get to see our brides in their wedding dresses….

Thankyou to Natalie and Warren for the 'on the day' pictures, and to Combermere Abbey for being so helpful whilst we were setting up the flowers xx

Tipi Wedding - Standlow Farm

I always love a tipi wedding ,as every brides take on it is totally different.
Back in september , we provided the wedding flowers for this Tipi pitched in the grounds of Standlow Farm, in the gorgeous Peak District.
Our brief was colourful informal country flowers, to coordinate with the gorgeous rustic and moroccan inspired props . I would of loved to have seen it during the evening as there were over 100 candles to light up against the dark night sky . Truly magical I would imagine .

Feminine Pastels - Moxhull Hall

I have been really spoilt this year .
I'm getting to see so many lovely professional images of our brides and their wedding day & I love it .
Here are the latest pretty images to pop into my inbox, all taken by the very talented Emma Case .
The lovely wedding of Emma & Warren took place at Moxhull Hall , a new venue for us , which is set in such pretty grounds . I loved all the rambling rose arches .  Very pretty feminine delicate pastels was the floral theme and i think it suited the dress and overall look wonderfully .

Pretty Whites and Greens ( part 2 )

A few weeks ago, i posted some images under the blogpost Pretty Whites and Greens . I was so delighted when the bride sent me some of the professional images to have a look at . It is always so lovely to see the whole 'look ' come together  ( unfortunately we rarely get to see our brides in their wedding dresses ) .  How beautiful does our bride Clare look with her wedding bouquet and floral aliceband ? ( if you are reading this Clare you should definitely go into modelling ) , and the bridesmaids look so pretty too .
We provided lots of loose stems to be dressed in small bottles, and other containers and i think the whole theme worked perfectly , in the rural setting of Clares granddads back garden . Perfect i think, don't you ? xx
Thankyou Clare for the images . Photography by Joe Stenson photography

Annabella Whispers Shoot

A few months ago, my dear friend Katie from Annabella Whispers Photography send me these pretty images of a shoot she had recently photographed featuring one of our pretty flower crowns .
This was back in the spring, so we made from lovely spring flowers - ranunculus , pussy willow and cherry blossom . Such pretty photos, i love Katies style - if you are looking for a dreamy photoshoot I wouldn't hesitate to recommend .
Note to self - start wearing pearls on my forehead . LOVE this !

Pretty Whites & Greens

I love whites and greens, and the more natural the better in my humble opinion . So I was delighted when Claire , one of our recent brides decided to opt for exactly this look . The brief was very natural, lots of foliage (so many brides shy away from foliage but I'm not sure why, its lovely!) & lots of textures . And to add to this, lots of lovely hair flowers too . To go with the lovely loose bouquets, we made delicate alice bands, pretty flower crowns for the little bridesmaids and also a hair comb . I loved them so much, I even made myself a headband . Hope you like x
