Gypsophlia Wedding Flowers - Jenna & Jak

Jenna & Jak, wanted gypsophlia as the only flower throughout their wedding last November at Blackbrook House & i must say, it all looked so so pretty.
Im so glad that gypsophlia ( or babies breath) has made a huge comeback in recent years, its no longer associated as the 'filler' flower that is put with anything & everything, instead good quality gypsophlia looks pretty, trendy, clean & in this case vintage elegance alongside the lovely distressed glassware.
What's not to love ?!?
Congratulations to the happy couple & thankyou to the lovely Jenna for sending the images of the day xx

Tipi Wedding - Langley Priory

This lovely wedding was held at one of my favourite venues, Langley Priory & soon as the bride Faye mentioned the words tipi I knew i really wanted to provide the wedding flowers . I love more individual weddings .
Faye & her hubby to be Coops, had great vision & wanted natural styling for their flowers, with little jars dotted about inside the tipi . For the bridal bouquet Faye was really keen to have lots of interesting foliages included & I must say her bouquet is one of my favourites that we have made ever! Very english, wouldn't look out of place in an episode of Downton Abbey . I hope you like the images, thank you to Steve Gerrard for the official images of the day .

Pretty Pastels

Another lovely wedding from last year, using lots of my favourites.. roses, hydrangea & scabiosa.
When our bride visited the shop for her consultation she fell in love with the pale blue hydrangeas we had on display, so much so they became quite a theme in her wedding flowers . Teamed with the palest of pinks and white, I think it makes a very pretty & quite unusual colour palette xx.

Laura & Giles Wedding - Coleorton

Last summer, I was so pleased when Laura & Giles chose me to provide their wedding flowers, as right from the start i loved their vision of the day . The whole theme of the flowers was to be pretty in a very natural, 'country' way to complement the village location of the church wedding, and the reception held at the brides childhood home. We used lots of whites and creams with just a highlight of blush pink, using beautiful garden roses, sweet peas, hydrangea, stocks to name a few. Gypsophlia played a key part throughout the theme as this was one of Lauras favourites .
( Official images by Rachael Connerton , with thanks to Daniel Norton photography who accompanied us during the setup on the day)

So are you liking this wedding so far ?
Now before we go on to the next few images , I need you to watch this clip from Larkrise to Candleford at 2mins 40 secs in . This will show you Lauras inspiration behind the arches we decorated for her friends to carry . I LOVED this idea, and was so excited to make these ! They were positioned in church ready to lead the way for the happy couple ...

Following the pretty church ceremony, back to the family home for a marquee reception .
We decorated the gates to the house for the arrival of the newlyweds, with the marquee filled with lots of vintage china & flowers. We also used our milk churns and vintage sherry barrel for additional decoration ( both available to hire from us) .

It was a really wonderful wedding & if Lauras parents are reading this, i would like to say a huge thankyou for all of your help and cooperation with the planning xx
