Peonies, Hydrangeas and Roses

This time of year is so lovely. The summer flowers are starting to come through and above all its peony time. In my opinion these big blousy blooms are the jewel of May and June, so we use them as much as possible to make the most of their short season. 

With hydrangeas and roses added into the mix, we have some very pretty wedding flowers indeed......

A lovely wedding bouquet we made a few weeks ago, with the addition of a few guinea fowl feathers. This bouquet is definately one of my recent favourites....

Last week was a very exciting week for us as we had our work published ! In a proper book ! :)

Pearl Lowe's Vintage Craft is a truly beautiful book, written by Pearl Lowe & Abigail Warner & we are honoured to be a part of it . See our floral wreaths on pages 90 to 92, with our other flower images shown throughout the book . We even made the cover and had a special mention in the Thankyou section of the book! 

The book is absolutely gorgeous, it contains lots of DIY craft projects , and interiors advice from the stylish lady herself , I love it & cant wait to get making for my own home .

Rustic Wedding Flowers at Park Farm Barn

Weddings at Park FarmHouse Hotel are definitely amongst my favourite to provide the wedding flowers for . I love rustic weddings as the options are endless ! 

Sam , our bride for this wedding asked for colourful & seasonal flowers. There are so many beauties in these flowers but just to name a few ..... hyacinths, clematis, lilac, forget me nots, and roses were a few of the lovely selection. 

To compliment the venue, we filled lots of mismatched rustic containers with flowers and moss, from old milkchurns to wooden trugs to jam jars . The room smelt divine !

Amys Pretty Wedding - Shottle Hall

Another lovely shabby chic wedding, this time with a focus on white astilbe, memory lane roses and white anemones .

Love the softness of the colours and the textures together, perfect with the white tulle wedding dress and blush pink bridesmaid dresses. 

The tables at Shottle Hall , looked absolutely lovely, with a mixture of varying jugs that Amy had provided, with lace runners & chair backs from Cakey Wakey. A very pretty wedding indeedy. 

Vintage Wedding Flowers

I thought i would share these images from a vintage styled wedding that we did a couple of weeks ago. 

We made the wedding bouquet completely from soft pink astilbe, which looked so pretty and fluffy  

The bridesmaids had lovely pink ranunculus wrist corsages tied with lace, with scabis seed heads for the mens buttonholes. These went perfectly with the brown tweed suits the men were wearing. 

And a eclectic mix of mismatched bottles and jars for the centrepieces! Very pretty flowers with a quirky twist.
